composition: 1 gr of cream contains 20 mg
of ketoconazole;
other ingrediets: polysorbate 80,
propylene glycol, disodium ЕDТА, purified water,
white soft paraffin, alcohol ketostearine,
ketomacrogol 1000, light rare paraffin, anhydrous
sodium sulfate.
Medicine form. Cream.
Pharmacotherapeutic group. Antifungal
agents for external use. Code АТС: D01AC08.
Pharmocological properties. Antifungal agent,
imidazoledioxolan derivative. Ketoconazole makes
an evident antifungal effect, specifically
disables fungous sterol synthesis. Active to
dermatophytes and various strains of Candida spp.,
Microsporum spp. and Trichophytum spp..
Epidermophyton floccosum.
Pharmocoligical properties are stipulated by
ability to destruct the fungals cell membrane.
Pharmacokinetics. When externally used,
ketoconazole resists resorption. Long time use of
form 2% cream does not result in ketoconazole
accumulation in blood.
Indications. For treatment of fungous skin
injuries, epidermophytia plicarum, ephidermophytia
of arms, ringworm of feet caused by dermatophytes:
Trichophton rubrum, Trichophton mentagrophytes,
Microsporum canis, Epidermophyton floccosum.
Dosages and administration.
When
skin moniliasis, ephidermophytia of arms, ringworm
of feet occur, the Dermazol 2% cream is
recommended to be applied on skin injuries 1 or 2
times a day.
In
case of seborrheic dermatitis Dermazol 2% cream
should be applied on skin injuries 1 or 2 times a
day. The treatment has to be continued for an
adequate period of time, at least a few days after
all symptoms of disease have gone. If amelioration
doesn’t occur after 4 weeks of treatment,
diagnosis have to be clarified.
Usual

Adverse effects. When locally used scab may
occur, burning, high fat or dry skin content,
especially in the first days of treatment.
Contra-indications. Heightened sensitivity to
the preparation.
Overdosage. The cream is for external use
only, ketoconazole practically does not absorb in
systemic blood flow, overdosage symptoms are
improbable.
Administration characteristics. Dermazol is
for external use only. Avoid cream application
into the eyes. In case cream applicates into the
eyes, wash them with the water. Cream may be used
when pregnancy and lactation.
Drug Interactions. Drug interactions weren’t
noticed.
Storage conditions and term of validity. Store
at room temperature. Protect from direct light,
keep out of reach of children!
Term
