Mr Sanjeev Gupta is the founder of Kusum Group of Companies and has extensive industrial experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

Sanjeev started his entrepreneurial journey with garments export back in the year in 1994, under the umbrella of Glad Rags International Limited. Following that, in the year 1997, he laid the foundation for Kusum Healthcare which under his leadership today is one of the leading pharmaceutical brands in India and several CIS countries.

A veteran of the pharmaceutical industry with over 30 years of experience in operations and management, Sanjeev Gupta was born in Bharatpur, Rajasthan, and graduated in Commerce from the University of Delhi. 

His passion and dedication towards his work and an uncompromising discipline are what ensures quality in the products produced by Kusum Group of Companies.

Mr Gupta is the founder Director of Kusum Group of Companies and a reputed leader in the Indian Pharmaceutical industry. 

Under his leadership, Kusum Group of Companies has become one of India’s leading Pharma companies with specialised formulations being marketed in over 20 countries globally. 

Son of Late Master Kesav Deo, B.P. Gupta was born on 17th Oct 1938 in the city of Bharatpur (Rajasthan). He is a graduate from MSJ College Bharatpur, and he has been an outstanding sports person especially in hockey and athletics, during his early days. He started his career in Education with the Delhi Government and retired as a Gazetted Officer in 1996. 

He renders strategic direction to the company’s executive team in economic and business matters. He has two sons; elder son Mr Sanjeev Gupta and younger son Mr Rajeev Gupta. who are also associated with the company

Dr T G Chandrashekhar

Dr TG Chandrashekhar is the Executive Director and Member of Board of Kusum Group of Companies since 2019 and currently as based out of New Delhi. 

Dr TG Chandrashekhar has been a part of the Indian Pharmaceutical Industry for over 30 years with global expertise in GMP, Quality Management Systems, Plant operations, R&D, Regulatory Affairs and Intellectual property. In the past, he has also worked in senior roles in Cipla, Torrent and Ranbaxy.

An imminent figure in the industry, he holds a PhD degree in Chemistry and has completed High Potential Leadership Program from Harvard Business School. He has published close to 15 Research Papers and has filed 8 Patents as well. 

A self-driven professional who has demonstrated success with his hard work, innovative thinking, creative problem solving skills, Dr TG was the chairman of the IP Committee for Anti Aids drug and has published about 30 monographs in the IP and about 10 Monographs in USP.

PharmaVoice, a US based pharmaceutical magazine for industry executives has also recognised him as one of the top 100 most inspiring person and a Mentor in the Global Pharmaceutical Industry.
