Drug Description

COMPOSITION:


active substance:

sodium citrate;

1 sachet (5.6 g of granules) contains sodium citrate 4 g;


excipients:

Sucrose, Sodium saccharin, Flavor cranberry 191121.


Indications and dosage.

INDICATIONS:

Relief from the symptoms of cystitis in women.


DOSAGE:

Women (adults) Dissolve the contents of one sachet in a glass of water.


Take orally 1 sachet 3 times per day during 48 hours.


The prepared solution should be used immediately.


Men and children

It is not recommended.


Side effects and drug interactions.

ADVERSE REACTIONS:


In isolated cases:

skin rash, abdominal pain.

Contraindicated in pregnancy and breastfeeding.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

Hypersensitivity to sodium citrate and components of the drug. Contraindicated in patients with diabetes, heart conditions, arterial hypertension, kidney conditions, or patients maintaining a low-salt diet.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES:


Sodium citrate is metabolized to bicarbonate, which promotes regression of dysuria observed in cystitis, reduces the acidity of urine, causing its alkalinization.

White to off-white free-flowing granules with a pleasant odor.
